Many people make snap judgments about pit bulls based on false assumptions and generalizations about the breed. For that reason, I’m overjoyed to tell you a tale today that provides a new angle on this lovely species.
The touching relationship that two cute pit dogs, Nick and Boston, had with a wild hummingbird caused them to become online sensations overnight.
A surprising person built an extraordinary friendship with two pit bulls on a picturesque Brazilian property, among stunning, untamed environment. A small hummingbird first appeared out of nowhere one day, and it landed exactly where Nick and Boston were lounging outside when the incident began. A genuinely enchanted event ensued.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” Edilene, the sister of Melrosi, the owner of the dogs, admitted. “The hummingbird and they became friends.”
The hummingbird, the woman said, departed after only a short while of conversation, but rather from vanishing permanently, it started surprising people by paying frequent visits to Nick and Boston.
We don’t get too near to the hummingbird, but the dogs are her pals. “It’s absolutely stunning,” Edilene exclaimed.
Indeed, the video shows the pit bulls playing nicely with their small, untamed companion.
The hummingbird is so fond of spending time with Nick and Boston that she is constructing a second nest near their house. I suppose this will make her drop-in visits with her new furry buddies much more manageable.

In addition to dispelling many misconceptions about pit bulls, this priceless friendship demonstrated the breed’s amiability and loyalty.
A lovely Brazilian tale about a remarkable friendship between two mild-mannered pit bulls and a small, feral hummingbird once again demonstrated the fallacy of generalizations.
This made me think of a piece I did earlier this year on Aaron Michael Louis and his adorable pit bull puppy, Gigi. Before her owner tried to dispel preconceptions and start a pit bull community in their neighborhood, the puppy was lonely due to unfairness and misunderstandings.
Consequently, I’m publishing this touching story in the hopes that it may bring greater attention to pit bulls and inspire a more compassionate society toward these misunderstood breeds.
