Life can be pretty tough sometimes. It can crush us. And that is why we need some gratitude in our lives. We focus on the pain and the wounds and we forget that we have so much to be grateful for. We tend to believe that there is nothing we should be thankful for.

We tend to forget that everything that happens is either a blessing or a lesson. We tend to forget that there are so many things that give us happiness. We forget to be grateful for the beautiful sunsets we get to see, the beautiful mornings we live every day, and the happy homes we live in.

All of this is happening before our eyes without us realizing that life is a gift we should be grateful for.

We have so many people who love us. We have families that have our back no matter what happens. We have our friends who love us unconditionally, who stick with us through thick and thin. All of these loving human beings around us are the greatest treasure we can ask for. They give us strength, love and above all, they give us a reason to live.

And on the other hand, there are people who leave us heartbroken and hurt. You know what? We should be grateful for them too, we should thank them for teaching us that we should not be gullible and naïve, for making us stronger, wiser, and more resilient.
We need to be grateful for the things we take for granted.

We have a home to live in. We have food on our table. We see the morning, we see the night. These are the things we have to be grateful for. These are the little things that matter a lot.

And we should be thankful for our flaws and mistakes too. They are what makes us who we are. They define us, and they help us become the best versions of ourselves. They teach us how to live, how to love, and how to treat other people.

So no matter what life throws at us, take a step back and take a look at things and see how many things we have to be grateful for.
