Roeselien Raimond is a Dutch nature photographer who is passionate about photographing breathtaking captures of wild foxes. Her images depict the manner in which foxes enjoy the simple things in life.

According to her, “I love them best when they’re totally at ease: free from pain, fear, cold, hunger, and any other discomfort.”

The foxes also do not forget to feed on rabbits, define their territories, procreate, and upbringing their young. Whenever they are not partaking in these important activities they can be seen taking a good rest. Raimond also gives some tips on capturing Zen foxes. Apparently, if you try hard it only moves you away from your goal.

The fox is able to sense your eagerness and remains alert. “I learned to do as foxes do, just being there and seeing what might happen. And in the meantime, I just enjoy smelling some fresh air and feeling the sun on my skin,” expressed Raimond. The photographer agrees that happy animals are the most beautiful.

Foxes are creatures that are experts in remaining in a comfortable state. Once all their duties are over, they then take time to relax. Raimond’s photographs depict the foxes smelling the fresh air and closing their eyes while feeling the warmth of the sun against their body. When you are too eager to capture images of a fox, they sense that you require something from them and perceive the human as a potential danger.

What you need to master when photographing these creatures is to accept things as they come. Something beautiful might take place when you are immersed in the beauty of nature. One look at these photographs is enough to convince you of the importance of taking a break from your busy schedule and enjoying the little things in life.
