“Sex can be the most intimate and beautiful expression of love, but we are only lying to ourselves when we act as if sex is proof of love. Too many men demand sex as proof of love; too many women have given sex in hopes of love. We live in a world of users where we abuse each other to dull the pain of aloneness. We all long for intimacy, and physical contact can appear as intimacy, at least for a moment.”
“Soul Cravings” by Erwin McManus
As you know, It’s not that difficult to find a partner for your lives because there are many men and women who want nothing more than physical intimacy.
However, I always want someone who I can share my soul without limiting it only to physical closeness.
I want to have a best friend as my lover. I want to hug him and cry my heart out to feel conformable. I want his butterfly kiss when I wake up in the morning. I expect a goodbye kiss along with “see you later baby I love you” and when arriving back home another welcome kiss.
I want to go and watch a romantic movie with him. I want to drink and laugh till my stomach get hurt.
I want someone who I can travel to different places and share my traveling experience. I hope that we can have these experiences to remember.
I want to try some exotic and delicious meals with him. I want to hold his hand and watch the sunset together in a beautiful evening.
I want him to watch me till I fall asleep and miss me when I am not awake. I want him to put his arms around me and talk about everything.
I want to receive funny texts from him which makes me happy. I want to share stories with him.
I want someone who is able to turn to each other with tough and embarrassing situations.
I want to laugh and cry with him. I want to become silly with him and also to celebrate success.
I think some of the best relationships come from good friendships. When your best friend is your partner then you can 100% be yourself, and you don’t have to worry about hurting the other person’s feeling. You can be open and honest with everything.
“There is a saying that every nice piece of work needs the right person in the right place at the right time.”
